New Transcriber App Impresses

MyHeritage has installed its own document transcriber for our use like Ancestry and FamilySearch. The FS Full Text has been more user friendly for me than Ancestry's, but this new Scribe AI Transcriber really impressed me right off the bat. Plus, you can download the app to use on your phone too!
Like the graphic shown above says, you can upload any letter, document or photo, but the drag and drop screen is a little confusing as it says "upload image." My PDF was readily scanned and transcribed in less than a minute.
The BEST part (so far) is the ANALYSIS it gives you. Here is the screenshot I uploaded to Scribe AI. It is a court record of a disputed Probate Settlement between heirs. This is the download I saved from FamilySearch. The FamilySearch app types out its translation and highlights all of the name occurrences in a separate window on the screen to the right of the image. You can expand this image if you like by clicking on it.
Look at the difference in info you get from the MyHeritage app (clicking will expand)!
Besides the "Principal Individuals mentioned" section, it also lists "Associated Individuals," the "Key Findings," and suggested next steps.
MyHeritage has also added a ChatBot named GAIA to answer any questions you might have, so far, untried.
BUT, and you know there had to be one, the Ancestry and FamilySearch apps will also run a Search for unindexed documents in their vast files, but this ScribeAI does not. You will have to search, save, and then find them using this MyHeritage app. It is a great tweak of the aforementioned apps at other sites, and you can get a few free tries with it without a membership.
MyHeritage says you can have a "limited number" of free uploads to Scribe AI. Some reviewers say it is as few as two. So, choose wisely! To get unlimited Scribe AI uses you need to purchase a Complete or Omni Membership and not just the free membership you may already be taking advantage of now!
